The Right Base for a Playhouse
A wooden playhouse should not be placed directly onto a soil or grass surface. Water and moisture can rise through soil and grass causing damage to the bottom edge of the playhouse. This leads to rot and can quickly damage your garden new garden building. You need a flat, level base to build your garden playhouse on.
You can use many different materials to create a flat, level base. A concrete slab, wooden decking, concrete paving slab, eco base or Portabase can be used. You just need to make sure the surface you create is completely level; use a spirit level to check.
