I don't usually write reviews, however with 3 hours spare after erecting this lovely playhouse I thought it was worth it. I'm a builder and with my carpenter I erected this playhouse, today, in 6 hours flat. I also used the spare timbers provided as door weathering strips and a little bit of extra 2x2 timber for hand rails up the side of the steps. Apart from using clear silicone to seal up the edges of the house. I have to say, what great value for money (I couldn't have bought the timber and made this for less than £1500!) it was easy to buy, VERY polite delivery driver (bought on Tuesday eve and delivered Thursday! 2 days!) very simple instructions, great finish and my 2 year old daughter is loving playing with it. Fantastic product. I wouldnt recommend this to a complete novice in building- you need to know the basics and have a decent enough stocked tool-box. didnt take as long as expected to erect or paint and finished product looks amazing!!! My daughter is quite young (18months) but has no trouble climbing/using the slide and swing and now we spend most of our day playng!!! our older children (6 and 9) also get great use of it. A great buy

This is a great product and our toddler absolutely loves having his own little space. The product was mostly very easy to put together with clear instructions. They did assume that you had a fair bit of knowledge but we're no carpenters and were able to follow the diagrams and text quite easily. There were a couple of bits that were quite tricky for two people (for example holding up two sides of the house while one person screws them together from the inside) but we got it all done in two days. The product is really well finished and there are lovely little touches such as the door handle and windows. We did find that the roof felt wasn't wide enough to cover the roof in two pieces, but it was long enough to cut a third to go over the top so that was fine. One point...make sure you build it where it will finally sit. We had to move ours as our extension cable wasn't long enough to allow us to pre-drill the holes on site, and moving it was not funny. Our poor backs! I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone with a small child.
