Waltons playhouse is featured on the Secret Lives of 4 year olds

The Waltons Honeypot Poppy Tower Playhouse has been featured on Channel 4's latest series, The Secret Lives of 4, 5 and 6 year olds.

The fly-on the wall documentary follows three groups of twelve children aged between 4 and 6 who are 'taking their first steps to independence.' The documentary looks at how children develop social skills such as conflict resolution and the importance of friendships.

The producers of Channel 4's Secret Lives of 4, 5 and 6 year olds chose to use the Waltons Honeypot Poppy Tower playhouse in the playground where the series was filmed.

The playhouse was painted in blue and white stripes and filled with a dressing up box and other toys. The first Episode showed the group of four year olds playing in the playhouse at different intervals with both the boys and girls engaging in imaginative play whilst in the playhouse.secret-lives-of-4-year-olds-playhouse

The playhouse is built to comply with the European Toy Safety Standard EN71 and features child safe hand rails, smooth planed wood and finger gaps around the doors.

Go to Channel 4 to watch the show or to take a look at the playhouse go to Outdoor Toys section of the Waltons Website.
