Why did you want to buy a summer house?
We wanted to be able to enjoy the garden in spring, summer and autumn. Perhaps winter too!
Why this particular building, and what made you choose Waltons?
This summer house was a good fit in the garden and the curved roof in particular blended with the adjacent trees. The front elevation also blended with the garden room extension to the house. Why Waltons… well, easy comprehensive website, competitive price, and good telephone contact. All round best on the market.
Where did you get your ideas for decorating it? What extra work did you do?
Ideas came from my wife and myself. The paint colour was ours to be consistent with the house. The floor has been covered in click vinyl flooring to make it easier to mop clean the floor, and electrics have been provided to the summer house for external/internal lighting and if necessary heating. These three enhancements were our own work.
What paint did you use?
The paint was Cuprinol garden shades, in dusky gem.
What do you plan to use your new summer house for?
We’re hoping to use it for pleasure and as an entertaining option with family and friends.
What do you think of the finished product? Are you happy with the results?
The finished product is very good and we are extremely pleased with this addition to the garden. It enables us to enjoy the fruits of our work in the garden, as we are both retired.
