Haiku competition - the winners!

20th December 2017

All the entries are in, and our panel of judges has read all of the entries. Over 200 of you sent in a haiku, and we've loved reading them.

There can, though, only be a few winners, and here they are. Congratulations to all.

The winner

Hayley's haiku of mystery and wonder in a shed made her entry a favourite with all the judges. She wins the fire pit with our very best wishes.

Second prize winners

There were so many entries that made us smile that we decided to introduce the Waltons 'shed load of tea' mug as a third prize for another three of our entrants. Here are the third prize winners:

Becky's clearly doing her garden planning at the moment, as her haiku tells us:

Janice takes the countryside as her inspiration:

And Chris is clearly loving shed time, which is something all of us here can relate to:

Thanks to everyone that entered, you've given us some fantastic entertainment. Keep your eyes peeled here and Facebook page for more competitions next year.
