Customer story: Pamela's summerhouse
Here at Waltons, we love hearing from our customers about how they’ve transformed their garden buildings. So you can imagine how happy we were when Pamela got in touch to tell us about her and her husband’s new summerhouse!
Pamela and her husband opted for the 11 x 7 corner summerhouse with side shed.
Why did you choose this particular summerhouse?
We bought that particular summerhouse because it had the shed extension which made it bigger and allowed us to adapt it to join it to our existing shed.
What extra work did you do to customise it?
We left off the dividing wall and end wall and put up our own extra strengthening beams to support it and filled in the gaps to join it to our own shed. We painted it inside and out with Cuprinol shades, sage on the outside and country cream inside.
What inspiration did you have for decorating it?
Our inspiration came from my husband who has just retired after 41 years as a ferry captain. I suggested he built a den as a project and we did it on a nautical theme.
What do you think of the finished product? Are you happy with the results?
We absolutely love it and had a christening for it last week with family and friends.
