Shed of the Year 2017 finalists revealed

After a record-breaking number of entries, the shortlist for the Shed of the Year 2017 competition has been revealed.

The competition celebrates the most eccentric, extraordinary and innovative sheds from around the UK, including a Tardis shed, a police station, hobbit house and even a holy Cathedral.

For the fourth year running, the competition will feature on Channel 4’s TV series ‘Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year’.

The 32 shortlisted sheds have been selected by a panel of shed experts, including Shed of the Year founder, Andrew Wilcox, architect and TV presenter George Clarke, industrial designer, Max McMurdo, craftsman William Hardie and architect Laura Clark.

Public voting to determine the winners from each of the eight categories opens today via the readersheds website.

The winners from the eight different categories will be revealed over the four week programme. The overall winner will receive £1,000 courtesy of sponsors Cuprinol along with a plaque, £100 worth of Cuprinol products and a giant crown for their shed.
