The ultra strong, environmentally friendly structure of this building is made up of an aluminium frame. Aluminium is a great material for greenhouses as it is lightweight yet strong, a great conductor of heat and resistant to rust. This frame has a resin powder coating for extra strength which is an attractive evergreen colour. The frame is reinforced with sturdy UV protected polycarbonate glazing measuring 4mm in thickness. This is one of the thickest and strongest styrene panels around. The UV protection ensures your plants will receive only the benefits of the sunlight.

Polycarbonate glazing is considered a better material to use than glass due to the fact that it has twin walls with ribbed channels that provide a constant insulating temperature. Polycarbonate is also better protected from shattering, is less likely to house condensation and loses less heat than a glass greenhouse.

This building is excellent for both new and experienced gardeners as it combines a number of features to aid good gardening. The greenhouse has two vents that open up to 20cm each. Heat rises, which is why these vents are placed on the roof of the structure in order to release built up heat as quickly as possible. Another great feature of the Polycarbonate Greenhouse is its external gutter system. This collects rainwater which can be used on your plants at your convenience. This reduces the need for hoses and saves on water consumption. Sliding doors allow each greenhouse in this range to maximise on cubic space.

The ridge height on the greenhouses measure 7’ 1”. This provides plenty of room for even the tallest of gardeners and is one of the tallest greenhouses on the UK market.

The FREE galvanised steel base requires no maintenance, has a long life expectancy, is reliable, tough, low cost and ready to assemble.
