14x10 sheds offer gardeners a generously proportioned space suitable for a wide range of uses. Big enough to house all your garden tools and equipment plus bicycles, patio furniture and lots more, you can also use a shed of this size as a garden workshop, hobby or craft room. Suitable for a large plot, if you’re wondering whether this is the right size and style shed for you, please check out our guide to buying a garden shed, where you’ll find all the information you need to make the best choice.

Choosing a 14x10 shed

If you love cycling and other outdoor sports, a shed like this makes a fantastic equipment store. Having somewhere to keep all your bikes, plus gardening equipment, DIY equipment and more, makes such a difference when your growing family makes the house sometimes feel as though it’s bulging at the seams. A 14x10 shed from Waltons has a unique modular design, which gives you, our customer, maximum control over the layout of your new shed. Because we build our sheds from interchangeable panels, all you need to do is order your shed and follow the instructions for deciding where you want your windows and doors.

14x10 shed construction

Our 14x10 garden sheds are made from sustainable and certified timber at our manufacturing facility here in the UK and are guaranteed against rot for 10 years. They feature strong 2x1 framing and are manufactured using shiplap timber–shaped tongue-and-groove boards, which slot together to form a watertight surface with excellent rain runoff. Roofs and floors are built using tough tongue-and-groove timber with mineral-felt waterproofing on the roof. You also get generous double doors and two opening windows, making this shed a durable and versatile purchase.

Installing a 14x10 shed

A shed of this size needs a level site with at least 600mm space around all four sides to enable you to maintain the building and to aid airflow. It also requires a level site and a firm base of patio slabs or concrete. For information on building an appropriate base for your new shed, please refer to our guide to building a shed base. As you’d expect, we supply full instructions for erecting your shed and our helpline is manned by a staff of experienced agents waiting to answer any questions you may have. Alternatively, you can purchase a shed installation package along with your shed. All you need to do is get your base in place, let us know, and one of our teams of professionals will do the rest.
