Ready Painted Buildings

Your painted summer house, shed, playhouse or greenhouse can be delivered to you for self-assembly, or you can book our experienced installation crew to build it for you, as long as you have a suitable base ready for the building. Either way, we’ll give you a litre of the paint you’ve chosen for those essential touch-ups, and you’ll also have the benefit of our paint promise guarantee.*

Your building is painted with premium, fully opaque paint that offers exceptional durability with a low-maintenance finish on a selection of quality sheds and summer houses. The paint acts as a preservative to protect against weathering, UV degradation, mould and fungal attack.

Choose from six gorgeous shades: Castle Green, Clove, Dove, Driftwood, Lakeside or Olive Tree. Your choice of colour is applied to your building by our expert team, giving instant, lasting protection to the timber.

What is the ready-painted service?

The ready-painted service gives you the option to have your building factory painted by our professional team. This service is available on a selection of our shiplap sheds, summer houses, greenhouses, and playhouses. We use premium, fully opaque paint that with preservative properties that protects against UV, weather, mould and fungus.

Choose your favourite colour from one of our six serene shades, and your painted summer house, greenhouse or shed will have a stylish and eye-catching look, with a great quality finish.

What are the benefits of a ready-painted shed?

Your building will be factory painted prior to installation, giving instant protection to the wood, saving you time and hassle.

Your building will benefit from our Paint Promise guarantee. This means the paint will last up to 3 years with minor care and attention - and the building will still benefit from its 10-year anti-rot guarantee! Please see our manufacturers recommendations for more details.

How does it work?

• Your building will be professionally painted in our factory
• When it’s ready, we’ll contact you to arrange a delivery date
• We’ll deliver your painted garden building on that date, along with an extra 1L of paint for touch-ups.

Our shed painting process

Our three stage painting process has been developed to ensure your

garden building is finished to the highest standard.

Step 1: Primer

We use a water-based isolating paint as a primer to minimise yellowing from knots and softwood with a large amount of heartwood.

Step 2: Paint

AQUATOP®, our fully opaque topcoat, provides extended protection against weathering. UV degradation, mould and fungal attack. Proprietary technology minimises micro foaming in the final paint finish, extending the coating’s durability.

Step 3: Touch up

We touch up any blemishes onsite during installation. Additional paint is supplied with the building on delivery for future touch ups.

*Paint Promise Guarantee - In most circumstances the paint we apply to your building will give the building up to 3 years without needing another coat or retreating. In exposed and coastal locations and on open elevations, wind, rain and strong sunlight can cause more rapid degradation of the protective film, therefore affecting the integrity of the paint.
