Description
The Novi Osprey 40mm Studio Cabin provides a practical solution for adding extra room to your garden without the expense of a house extension. Built in a spacious 4m x 3m footprint, this cabin offers ample interior floor space for a dedicated home office, garden gym, or relaxing lounge.
Designed with full-height central double doors and a single large window alongside, the front layout fills the interior with steady natural light. Opening the wide double doors allows you to move large items like desks, fitness kit, or sofas inside easily while opening up the building directly into your garden during warmer weather. With an overall height of 2.4m, the Osprey stays comfortably below the standard 2.5m planning threshold. This allows the cabin to sit within typical UK Permitted Development guidelines for most residential properties, saving you time and avoiding planning permission paperwork. Engineered for reliable year-round use, the solid timber build features 1.2mm thick aluminium door and window frames finished with a marine-grade powder coating for long-term weather protection. The 4mm toughened double glazing includes an insulating air gap to hold warmth inside during cold spells, while a secure 3-point locking system on the double doors keeps your workspace and equipment safe.
An added air vent helps air move inside the cabin, reducing the chance of moisture build-up and improving ventilation throughout the building.
The stylish offset apex pitched roof combines timeless style with practical performance and is finished with roofing felt to provide a reliable protective layer between the timber roof and the elements.

This building is supplied untreated and will require a coat of high quality timber treatment once installed then annually after that. You can simply add this into your basket as an additional extra and we’ll deliver it alongside your new retreat, so you’re ready to go.
Anti-Rot Guarantee
Our log cabins come with a 10 year anti-rot guarantee as standard, meaning you can relax knowing your building is covered by us. In order to ensure the validity of the guarantee, you will need to treat your new log cabin every year with wood treatment to prevent fungal attacks and promote its long life.
Home Installation
Home Installation Available
So you can sit back and relax, Home Installation Service by our expert installers is available at an additional cost. They will arrive ready to put up your new garden building to our exacting standards. They’ll tidy up after themselves, so the only thing you have to do is make yourself a cuppa and decide how you're going to decorate your new log cabin.
Prior to booking the date of your home installation with us, you will need to have a firm and level base ready for construction.

If you’re not looking to have this installed by our professional installers, then your log cabin will be delivered as individual tongue and groove timber lengths and should be constructed on a firm and level base.

Due to our palletised garden buildings being stacked and ready to go in our Nottinghamshire yard, all we have to do is simply pass it onto our pallet delivery partners who put it through their network in less than 48 hours. This means you can receive your new garden building as quickly as possible!
We know life can be hectic and days off are precious, that’s why we offer Pick-a-Day delivery, so you can choose a time for delivery that suits your busy schedule.

If a delivery date is not selected, one of our friendly team will be in touch. They will help arrange a suitable delivery date that fits your schedule.
Pallet delivery ensures that all the materials are securely packed and tightly wrapped together, minimising movement and reducing the risk of damage during transport. Our pallets are wrapped with protective materials, such as plastic sheeting, to shield the wood from moisture, dust, and dirt. This added protection helps keep the timber in excellent condition, ensuring that every piece arrives at your home ready for assembly.
Palletised deliveries are far easier to handle compared to individual, loose components. The garden building components are stacked and secured in an organised manner, making unloading a breeze. Plus, you can decide to unpack it at your own convenience!
A timber garden building delivery involves many individual pieces, such as floor panels, wall sections, and roof components. If these are delivered loosely, they can quickly become disorganised, leading to confusion and time lost trying to locate specific parts during assembly. When delivered on a pallet, everything is neatly stacked and organised, ensuring that all pieces are accounted for and easy to access.
Somebody will need to be at the property to accept and sign for the order. In addition, so the driver is able to move the pallet safely from the delivery vehicle, they will need a smooth, flat and level surface in which to place your new garden building.
