Our garden bars come with full assembly instructions. It’s a straightforward task for a reasonably capable DIYer, especially with an assistant to help. The process is as follows:

Find a suitable location
Prepare the base
Check the base is flat, level and clear of debris
Install the bar as per the step-by-step instructions in your pack
Prepare the bar for treatment and apply wood preserver and waterproofing within 14 days.

Yes, garden bars do require treatment and should be given wood preserver and waterproofing within 14 days of assembly. This helps protect the timber and preserve the finish. Continue to follow the product’s maintenance guidance after installation.
