Metal Sheds Information

Where can I find the exact measurements of my metal shed?

Before purchasing your new metal shed, be sure to check the specific measurements of its size in the Specification section of the product listing. We often round up measurements in product titles just so it's easier for you to find your perfect garden building.

How will my new metal shed arrive?

Your new garden shed will be supplied as a flat-pack DIY kit with full instructions. If you're taking on the project yourself, be sure to check out our 'how to build a metal shed' page for plenty of tips.

If you're planning on using a third party installer to construct your metal shed, we advise that you don't book their services until you receive and are happy with your garden building. Waltons do not cover any third party cost in the instance of a failed delivery or a damaged item preventing installation.

Does my new metal shed come with any guarantees?

Metal sheds are supplied with a 1 year Manufacturers guarantee as standard.

Does my new metal shed require planning permission?

We work hard to ensure all of our garden buildings adhere to the planning permission guidelines. However, we cannot guarantee that planning permission will not be required. Our guide to planning permission for sheds can give you a good steer, but if you're in any doubt at all, we advise checking with your local authority.

What base do I require for my new metal shed?

A flat, level base is essential when building your new Metal garden shed. We recommend a concrete or paving slab base. Please note you must anchor your building to your base using a metal anchor kit, which can be purchased along side your shed. You can find help deciding which base to use and how to set it up in our 'how to build a shed base' guide.

How do I care for my new metal shed?

To ensure your garden shed stands the test of time it's important to follow the guidance outlined in your buildings product instructions.
