Garden Media Guild Awards - our favourites in the finals

The Garden Media Guild Awards celebrate the best in horticultural communications, and give recognition to the talent, hard work and skill of a huge range of gardening professionals.

Some of our favourite bloggers are among these people, so we wanted to give a shout out to them so that even if you missed out on the awards, you can share a bit of what we see in them! Follow the links to find out more about each one.

Congratulations to all winners and nominees.

The awards

Stephanie Hafferty and Charles Dowding took first prize in the Peter Seabrook Practical Book of the Year award for  'No Dig Organic Home & Garden'. They're trailblazers in the 'no dig' movement, and it's a well-deserved win.

Charles was also a nominee in the Practical Journalist of the Year category - but was pipped by TV's Alan Titchmarsh.

Blog of the Year went to London gardener Jack Wallington, but also included in the nominations were the splendid Michelle Hurford, Nic Wilson and Jill Anderson.

Jane Perrone was nominated in Radio Broadcast of the year for her popular ‘On The Ledge’ podcast, while the 'Alan Titchmarsh New Talent Award' had Life at No. 27's Annabelle Padwick, herself a dedicated broadcaster, as a nominee.

See a full list of the winners and finalists at the GMG site - and be sure to give a follow to some of the best of the best!
