Extend the life of your garden building by applying silicone around the windows to prevent water ingress. Sealing around the windows of your garden building helps to prevent wood rot but also helps to reduce draughts. The fast setting silicone is ideal for use on sheds, summerhouses, greenhouses and log cabins. The silicone will remain permanently flexible and contains a fungicide to prevent mould.

It is crucial that your new building is constructed upon a strong, sturdy and level base, to ensure a long-lasting build. With a Waltons Portabase, your building will not only be supported by a robust base but it'll be kept level to prevent the wood from twisting and distorting over time.

Made from high quality pressure treated timber, the Portabase provides a raised platform for your building, helping to protect against damp and rot. Our Portabase is quick and easy to install by simply mounting the wooden frame onto the galvanised metal spikes included.

• The ground in which you plan to place your Portabase must be a gradient of no more than 65mm across the length or width of the base, clear of obstructions and not saturated with water.
